Bigtime Sports founder and owner Marcus Robinson, an 11 year veteran of the NFL found that dedication, hard work and perseverance is what it takes to become the best you can be at anything you do. Marcus was born in Fort Valley Georgia.Located in middle Georgia where he excelled in all sports. He achieved most of his high school honors in football. He was recognized by the state of Georgia with All State Honors (1992,1993) Marcus was in a Senior class that lead their team to a 14-1 record. On this talented team Marcus was the only player toplay both offense and defense.
In 1993 Marcus attended the University of South Carolina where he pursued a degree in English Elementary Education. During his college years Marcus earned honors in track and field. In 1996 he ran away with All American Honors in the 100 meter outdoor championships. Marcus also set records at South Carolina with time of 10.21 second in the 100 meter dash and 21.47 seconds in the 200 meter dash. Marcus recorded 52 catches for 736yds and 3 tds while attending South Carolina.
In 1997 Marcus was drafted in the 4th round by the Chicago Bears. He played with the Bears for 6 years. In 1999 Marcus set a single season record with 1400 yd's receiving. That year he ranked 4th in most yards in the NFL. Marcus went on to leave the Bears in 2003. Marcus played one full season with the Baltimore Ravens and set a single game record that year for the Ravens with 4 touchdowns in one game. He led the team that year with 6 receiving touchdowns. The next year Marcus signed with the Minnesota Vikings. Marcus played 3 seasons with the Vikings where recorded 20 touchdowns in 3 years. He also became one of two players to be with 3 different teams and score 3 touchdowns in one game. The other receiver to do this was the Dallas Cowboys Terrell Owens.
